Emirates Visa Online for South Korean Citizens
Travel between South Korea and the United Arab Emirates reflects strong links in technology, infrastructure development, global trade, and long-haul tourism. South Korea citizens frequently travel to the UAE for corporate projects, engineering and construction collaboration, participation in international exhibitions, and premium leisure experiences centered around modern cities and cultural attractions. The Emirates also serves as a strategic global transit hub for South Korea passport holders connecting to Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. With efficient long-haul air connectivity and well-established travel routes, the UAE has become a practical destination for both professional and leisure travel. Despite this accessibility, South Korea passport holders are required to obtain a pre-arranged Emirates visa before travel, making advance preparation an essential part of a smooth journey.

Frequently Asked Questions
I live in Seoul on an Indian passport with a Korean residence card. Is an Emirates visa still needed?
Indian passport holders with a valid South Korean residence permit may qualify for a UAE visa on arrival, provided they meet current eligibility conditions, including at least six months’ passport validity. A pre-approved visa is not generally mandatory for eligible travellers, but confirm your documents and airline requirements before departure.
Can Koreans flying from Incheon on any airline use an Emirates visa from you?
Yes. Our visas do not depend on the airline, so a direct Emirates flight, a connection through another hub or separate tickets all work. South Korean passports are currently listed for entry on arrival, but we still recommend a pre-approved visa: entry lists change, and a cancelled or rebooked flight is easier to handle when your approval is already issued.
Is the stay Koreans receive at the UAE border enough for a work assignment?
No arrival stamp or tourist visa allows employment. Meetings and conferences are generally fine, but paid work on a project needs a work or mission permit arranged by the UAE company. For a business trip, a pre-approved visa from us confirms your visitor status in writing; for actual employment, ask your employer's government relations team about the proper permit.
Can I apply for Emirates visas for my parents in Busan from my own account?
Yes. One person can fill in and pay for several applications, as long as each traveller's own passport scan and photo are uploaded and the details match their passports exactly. Use an email you check often, because we send questions and approvals there. Each approval is issued per person, so forward every PDF to the right traveller before the trip.
